Class Description

Beginning Copperplate I and II

This is where it all begins!  We will be studying the classic calligraphy forms upon which all variations rest.  This sound basis of techniques and materials will give the student wings and the confidence and knowledge to make it their own.

Beginning Copperplate I class instructs on materials and tools, proper writing mechanics, basic strokes and lower cases alphabet techniques.

Beginning Copperplate II class includes more valuable tips as we study the capital alphabet, numbers and variations.

• Basic calligraphy kit (pen holder, nib, ink, inkwell,  practice paper and handouts all in a custom bag) – $25.

• Intermediate calligraphy kit (adjustable pen holder, 3 nib assortment,  2 inks,  inkwell, double practice paper pack, handouts) – $55
